Day 1: Brisbane to Forest Hill (1.5 hours, 100 km)

Day 2: Forest Hill to Allora (2 hours, 120 km)

Today, head to the historic town of Nobby, where you’ll find Rudd’s Pub, a spot steeped in heritage and full of character. Once a muse to writer Steele Rudd, this pub’s walls tell stories of days gone by, with memorabilia and photographs adding to the atmosphere. Settle in for a traditional country meal, and let the history of the place surround you.

After a hearty meal and some time exploring the local history, make your way to Allora, a quaint country town where you’ll stay the night.


Day 3: Allora to Killarney (1 hour, 80 km)

Next, make your way to Killarney, home to the stunning Killarney Hotel. This historic pub is all about old-world grandeur, but it’s the meals that truly steal the show. Known for serving up some of the most delicious country fare, the pub’s kitchen is sure to satisfy after a day of exploring.

Take in the charm of the old building, enjoy a hearty meal, and relax in this small town with big heart. The grandeur of the hotel, paired with its welcoming atmosphere, will leave you feeling right at home. Visit Queen Mary Falls or and stop by Long Neck Farm, where you will be greeted by the locals (Alpacas & Ostrich's).

Day 4: Killarney to Goondiwindi (2 hours, 140 km)

Today, hit the road towards Goondiwindi, where The Queensland Hotel awaits with its recently renovated spaces and an enticing beer garden. This pub is becoming famous for its massive meals – so big they’re often compared to the size of your head! Whether you’re in for a classic pub feed or something a bit more adventurous, this is a stop that will leave you both full and impressed.

Take a stroll around town after your meal, soaking in the laid-back vibes of Goondiwindi before turning in for the night. From boutique shops, art trails and don't forget the famous Goondiwindi Cotton tours, there's plenty for you to do to work up an appetite.

Day 5: Goondiwindi to Condamine (2.5 hours, 220 km)

Journey into cattle country with a stop at the Condamine Hotel, where the focus is on authentic paddock-to-plate dining. Dig into a hearty meal of locally sourced beef, while enjoying the rustic charm of this classic country pub. It’s all about simple, honest food that reflects the region’s agricultural roots.

After your meal, take some time to explore the town’s laid-back atmosphere or simply find a quiet spot to relax and let the peaceful surroundings soak in.

For your final night, make your way to Linville, where the historic Linville Hotel welcomes you. Set in a 1904 Queenslander-style building, this pub is full of country charm and serves all the classic pub favourites. Whether you’re after a juicy steak or a simple schnitty, the meals are hearty, and the hospitality is warm.

It’s the perfect spot to unwind and look back on your Queensland Country Pub Trail adventure as you settle in for your last night on the road.

Day 7: Linville to Forest Hill (2 hours, 140 km)

Your pub trail adventure comes full circle as you return to Forest Hill. Take a moment to relax on the wrap-around verandah of The Lockyer Hotel one last time, or hit the road with memories of the warm hospitality, hearty meals, and laidback country vibes you’ve enjoyed along the way.
