Peacehaven Botanic Park
Peacehaven Botanic Park is nestled in the heart of picturesque Highfields, just 15 minutes north of the Toowoomba CBD.
Covering 5.3 hectares, the park offers panoramic views of Gowrie Junction and the Bunya Mountains to the west and includes a diverse collection of Australian native flora and other attractive botanic specimens, including rare and endangered plants.
It is a popular venue for bird watching, picnics, weddings, concerts and festivals. The nature themed adventure playground, complete with a dinosaur skeleton for young archaeologists to excavate, is a favourite for families. The park also attracts visitors from near and far who want to enjoy one of the region's best botanic parks and a variety of fantastic facilities.
